Innovative dentist and co-founder of UpCare Clinics, Dr. Shivam Parbhu helped integrate his primary care and dental practice alongside his wife, Dr. Priya Gujarati, the on-site primary care practitioner. Together, they share a vision to provide a modern healthcare experience with the fusion of a medical/dental practice. To create a frictionless healthcare experience, Dr. Parbhu traveled from coast to coast, observing the best patient experiences from clinics in cities, such as New York, Tampa, Los Angeles, and Austin. He gained great insight into the future of healthcare. He aims to make learning and enhancing the healthcare experience his lifelong mission.
Dr. Parbhu received his doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. He has practiced in the Kansas City area, from the Plaza to the Greater Kansas City metro, and now serves Olathe, KS. He understands the connection between oral wellness and overall health, which guides the professional quality care at UpCare Clinics. Patients see him for a wide variety of treatments, including dental cleaning, tooth extraction, wisdom teeth problems, and dental emergencies. Dr. Parbhu firmly believes that "knowledge empowers patients" so he actively educates his patients about their oral health.
